i downloaded a new version of IE and it messed up my icons/pages. Everything is BIG. How do I change that??

Hi. This is a two part question. 1.) I was wondering if there was anyway to replace the MIDI wavetable sounds in Windows XP so that it sounds like my musical keyboard instead. 2.)What software will allow me to record each midi track as an independent wav (or mp3) so I can edit them (preferably freeware)? Thanks.
